The AE1-C is an upgraded version of the AE1 kit, including higher quality Tube Amp Doctor Red-Base EL34 tubes and Mullard new production 12AT7 driver tube, upgraded choke and power supply, Auricap XO coupling capacitors, Alps potentiometer, solid aluminum volume knob, and Audio Note speaker binding posts. 
 
This DIY kit includes all components (resistors, capacitors, transformers, tubes, etc.) needed to build a 12AT7 / EL34 stereo single-ended tube amplifier.
